Our clients dedicated Customer Service team provide exceptional levels of service to our a growing client database.

Day to day you will be interacting with customers over the telephone, webchat and email to answer their enquiries about products, accounts and services. Your aim will be to optimise customer service and to alleviate any issues or complaints as swiftly and efficiently as possible.

The Customer Service Coordinator will work within a team of 6 based at Paddock Wood, reporting directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.

An exceptional level of service to the clients valuable customer database and other business functions, such as Sales, Operations and Product Development will be expected.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage incoming customer service enquiries (deliveries, damages, repairs, services, returns, replacements, requests)
  • Record and action all customer service report (CSR) issues on the SAP service module and supporting documents
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and contractors to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare and process quotations, sales orders and replacement orders
  • Internally tracing and updating customers on the status of their orders
  • Assist with delivery damages, replacement orders and the returns procedure
  • Be able to demonstrate over the phone basic product knowledge to help identify product malfunctions for the benefit of their customers (full training will be provided)
  • Manage engineers’ diary both internally and externally
  • Other related tasks as mutually agreed

To succeed in this role you must have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role. Product/industry knowledge will be taught but experience in a busy customer service or after-sales department is essential
  • Good level of education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Polite and positive phone manner
  • Experience with SAP and/or ZOHO would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Be a willing team player but also be proactive and work on own initiative
  • Be able to multi-task, remaining calm and professional even in a pressurised customer service environment
  • Be able to manage time and be highly organised
  • Dedicated, hardworking, reliable, and motivated
  • Willingness to undertake training opportunities
  • Be able to evidence that you are capable of being able to make quick and suitable decisions whilst providing exceptional customer service

Warehouse Operative

Our client is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, reliable and motivated new team member for a permanent Warehouse Operative vacancy based in Paddock Wood.

You will be responsible for daily warehouse duties, including the receipt of incoming goods, all warehouse operations and dispatch.

This role requires a Forklift Licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • To store goods in a tidy and well organised manner
  • Quality checks and reporting any non-conformances
  • Check goods prior to dispatch for any damage or faults
  • Make-up production orders as required
  • Ensure all goods are well protected with adequate packing
  • Ensure vehicles are loaded in a careful manner to avoid damage in transit
  • Make-up pick orders from pick lists and prepare for dispatch
  • Ensure the warehouse and yard are maintained in a safe, clean and tidy manner

You will need:

  • To be able to communicate at all levels
  • Have a positive and professional manner
  • Be a willing team player but also be proactive and work on own initiative
  • Be versatile to help with other operational tasks
  • Be mindful of health and safety in the workplace

You will need to provide your own hi viz and have work boots.

The hours are Monday to Friday 06.30am – 16.30pm
