I am currently looking for a versatile Night Transport Planner for our client, a large supply chain logistics company.

We are looking for someone happy to work Monday – Friday 21:00 – 06:00. This is a temp – perm position and once permanent pays around 28.5k.

Prior to this the salary will be based on an hourly rate.

Duties will include but not limited to;

  • Liaising with drivers, dealing with dispatch and routing issues
  • Liaising with warehouse staff to ensure vehicles are loaded and routes can run on time
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Carrying out administrative traffic and transport duties as required
  • Debriefing drivers
  • Ensuring delivery schedules are planned and executed in the most cost effective way
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the delivery service

Ideal candidate;

  • Transport planning experience
  • General haulage experience
  • Good knowledge and understanding of weight restrictions on LGV and Vans
  • Have worked with pallets before
  • Ideally have hazardous haulage experience (preferred but not essential)
  • CPC (preferred but not essential)

Traffic Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Traffic Operator to come on-board with our client, a large supply chain logistics company, working on a busy home delivery contract.

We are looking for someone happy to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.

Hours of work will be 06:00 until 18:00. This is a temp – to – perm position and once permanent pays around £21,000.

Prior to this the salary will be based on an hourly rate.

Duties of the job will include:

  • Working on a home delivery contract with a leading furniture retailer
  • Liaising with drivers, dealing with dispatch and routing issues
  • Liaising with warehouse staff to ensure vehicles are loaded and routes can run on time
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Carrying out administrative traffic and transport duties as required
  • Debriefing drivers
  • Ensuring delivery schedules are planned and executed in the most cost effective way
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the delivery service

Warehouse Operative OR Picker and Packer

We are currently looking to recruit numerous Warehouse Operatives to work with our client on a temporary to permanent basis.

The job will involve working in a warehouse on behalf of a well known furniture retailer.

Candidates will be working any 5 days of out 7 and will be given a fixed rota. – Please be aware this does mean working on majority of the weekends.

We are looking for candidates happy to work the PM shifts which is 14:00 until 22:00.

Duties of the job will involve ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care. Picking and packing accurately and effectively. Operating machinery (all candidates will be trained on the LLOP). Checking loads prior to dispatch and a range of other duties such as banding and wrapping etc..

Please note that this position is based in Kingsnorth in Hoo so candidates MUST drive or live very local in order to get to the site as there is no public transport.

The rate of pay is £9.00ph for the first 37.5hrs and then rises to the overtime rate of £11.00ph.

The client is only looking for candidates who want to stay on a long term basis. All positions are temp-to-perm and four weeks worth of training will be given.
