After a few busy weeks of meetings, phone calls and running around, to ensure Qube had everything needed in preparation for the Kent Vision Live exhibition, the day finally came! It was an early start for us, well, earlier than normal. With grey clouds looming and the rain making an appearance, we began to make our way down to the Kent County Show Ground.
As soon as we arrived, it was all hands on deck, setting up the cakes, laying out merchandise and our raffle prize of a Fortnum & Mason Hamper, and waiting for Spencer, the magician, to make an appearance. With only a quick 5 minutes to take a breath, the doors opened.
With this being our second year exhibiting at the Kent Vision Live, we had a rough idea as to how the day would pan out. Our stand became very busy, very quick, and we had such an enjoyable time meeting every one that visited. The magician was fantastic and everyone loved watching and participating in his tricks, oh! And we can’t forget about the cupcake challenge.
By the afternoon the weather had improved and every one was feeling the warmth, feet were starting to hurt, and the atmosphere had died down a little, every one needed a boost. So, what better way to do this other than to provide a glass of chilled Bucks fizz with some snacks?
As you can imagine our stand was very busy throughout the day. The magician was brilliant, the cupcakes went down a treat, and it was great to have the opportunity to meet with so many new individuals. The day was full of fun, laughter and magic!
