Warehouse Operative OR Picker and Packer

We are currently looking to recruit numerous Warehouse Operatives to work with our client on a temporary to permanent basis.

The job will involve working in a warehouse on behalf of a well known furniture retailer.

Candidates will be working any 5 days of out 7 and will be given a fixed rota. – Please be aware this does mean working on majority of the weekends.

We are looking for candidates happy to work the PM shifts which is 14:00 until 22:00.

Duties of the job will involve ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care. Picking and packing accurately and effectively. Operating machinery (all candidates will be trained on the LLOP). Checking loads prior to dispatch and a range of other duties such as banding and wrapping etc..

Please note that this position is based in Kingsnorth in Hoo so candidates MUST drive or live very local in order to get to the site as there is no public transport.

The rate of pay is £9.00ph for the first 37.5hrs and then rises to the overtime rate of £11.00ph.

The client is only looking for candidates who want to stay on a long term basis. All positions are temp-to-perm and four weeks worth of training will be given.

You will have previous experience in freight forwarding with knowledge of import and export along with a background in customs clearance. Van Driver

Our client, a large national supply chain provider, have won some exciting new business and are therefore looking for a Van Driver to join their team!

The job will involve the delivery of disability aid bathroom equipment to customers around Kent, Essex, Sussex, London and other local surrounding counties.

Drivers will be delivering to a number of premises, including residential homes, local council sites, care homes and building/plumbing merchants.
